Read on and contact us to learn how you can become part of the change.

BECOME A BEEKEEPER

A Partnership for Good

Join us and make a difference by becoming a beekeeper,

we will mentor and assist you at one of our apiaries

in Surrey, Hampshire or West Sussex. Why not get

in touch and come down for a free taster lesson.

Let us guide you to a new wonderful hobby.

WHAT WE DO

EDUCATION

The money raised from your donations enables us through our many projects to educate and raise awareness of the plight of bees.  Founded in 2017 we are a non-profit charity with no paid members, all of our funds go directly towards the welfare of bees.

TALKS & EDUCATIONAL VISITS

If you run or are a member of an adult society or community group, or you are involved in a youth group like the Scouts, Guides or Brownies, or are a teacher wanting a class visit, please "Get in Touch" for information on our talks, educational workshops and visits with LIVE BEES....

JOIN OUR NEW YOUTH GROUP

We're giving young people the opportunity to experience looking after bees by helping beekeepers make hive parts, plant flowers and trees for pollinators, extract honey and make things from bee products.

BEEBOMBS FOR SCHOOLS

BeeBombs for Schools is a joint initiative with our sponsor Egmont Honey.

The scheme is open to all junior schools in the UK and is free.

The British Bee Charity will send you an educational pack, together with BeeBombs which are native, wildflower seedballs, handmade in Dorset.

Egmont Honey on request will send you a sample of their delicious Manuka honey for the children to sample.

The educational pack will include a powerpoint presentation with teacher notes. The presentation explains to the children the plight of bees and other pollinators and how we can each do our bit to help them, like planting pollinator friendly flowers.

Packs are limited so please apply early to avoid disappointment.

ADOPT A HIVE

Since 2017, our success in helping the bees and the wider community has been made possible thanks to people just like you. Our Adopt a Hive Scheme makes a fantastic gift for a friend, a family member or even yourself.
